Safety and Protective Services	The Safety and Protective Services Officer, is responsible for various aspects of community safety, including the enforcement of by-laws.
Recreation Services	Fort Liard offers a baseball diamond, parks, gymnasium, indoor winter skating rink, community hall, and an indoor summer pool. Recreation services are provided by the Manager Wellness and Recreation.  An updated recreation calendar is available every month.
Liquid and Solid Waste Disposal	The Hamlet does NOT accept ANY industrial or contaminated waste.  Domestic waste is only accepted from residents and companies located inside the municipal boundaries.  For further information call (867) 770-4104 ext. 103.
